Meat the Press
Get ready for a night of fun and fundraising as the Buffalo Broadcasters Association hosts “Meat the Press” Meat Raffle on Saturday, June 13 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Depew. Doors open at 5 PM and the first spin begins at 6 PM. Guests will enjoy an entertaining evening filled with raffles, prizes, networking, and camaraderie — all while helping support future BBA events and initiatives. Beer, wine, and pop are included. BBA Hall of Fame Celebrates 30 Years
The Buffalo Broadcasters Association proudly celebrates the 30th Annual Hall of Fame Dinner on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens in Depew.
This milestone evening will honor the BBA Hall of Fame Class of 2026, including Scott Levin (Television), Jon Summers (Radio), Sandy Kozel (Out-of-Town), Dennis Webster (WNY Broadcaster), Bob Koshinski (Management), and Rick Swenson (Behind the Scenes).
The evening will also recognize special honorees Diane English with the Arts in Broadcasting Award, Tim Clark with the Special Award, and Marilyn Phister with the President’s Award.
Join us for an unforgettable night celebrating the people, personalities, and pioneers who helped shape broadcasting in Western New York and beyond. Cocktails begin at 5 PM.

2026 BBA Media Awards Voting Opens Soon
The Buffalo Broadcasters Association is preparing to unveil the nominees for the 2026 BBA Media Awards, with the official list being released publicly on Friday, May 29 at buffalobroadcasters.com.
The annual awards celebrate outstanding achievement across Western New York media, recognizing excellence in television, radio, multimedia journalism, weather, rising talent, and more.
Voting is open exclusively to current BBA members, giving our membership the opportunity to help honor the broadcasters and media professionals making an impact throughout our region.
Winners will be recognized during the BBA Hall of Fame celebration this October at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens in Depew. Be sure to check the website Friday and cast your vote!
